The Self-Employment Training (SET) is a Step-By-Step programme launched by Massage Therapy Academy (MTA) in 2005 to assist Malaysian to acquire basic skills in massage therapy and ways to run a successful massage business. This is in-line with the Government's objective in encouraging Malaysian to cope with risk of un-employment and emphasize the increased need for self-reliance.

It is important to be certified by proper and professional academy as government has mentioned.
MTA has engineered its courses to meet local, government as well as international complimentary medical therapy standards. We are currently supported by Malaysian Society of Complimentary Therapist (MSCT) which is under the Ministry of Health TCM Division, meaning our courses are fully supported by the Malaysian government.
